Bridging High-Fashion Aesthetics with Community Culture
In May 2026, I joined forces with the K-Festival for a unique takeover of Berlin’s Manifesto Market. Moving beyond traditional event photography, I transplanted my studio practice into the heart of Potsdamer Platz to capture the faces of Berlin’s evolving K-creative scene.
The objective was to create a high-contrast experience: the raw, bustling energy of a food and art market meeting the controlled, polished environment of a professional fashion set. By inviting attendees to step in front of the lens, we transformed festival-goers into editorial subjects in real-time.
Location: Manifesto Market | Alte Potsdamer Str. 7, Berlin
Context: A curated showcase featuring 20+ Berlin-based artists, designers, and brands.
The Output: A series of one-of-a-kind portraits that blend street-style authenticity with studio precision.
"The challenge was to carve out a moment of stillness and high-end aesthetics within the vibrant chaos of the festival. It wasn't just about taking photos; it was about giving the community a space to see themselves through a fashion lens."
Demonstrates the ability to produce high-quality editorial work outside of a traditional studio.
